My Last Journey

Freddy is a 56-year-old man who has been incarcerated for more than 30 years. Drugs are the common thread in his life and has caused him to end up in prison. In order to obtain drugs he has committed armed robberies and thefts in the past. He has already served time in several prisons in Belgium.

Now he is staying in the prison of Hasselt. During this long period, he has received no visitors which make him feel lonely. Currently he is staying in the drug-free section of the prison. He is trying to get rid of his addiction.

Freddy hopes that this move will help him, once he is released, successfully reintegrate into society and build a new life. Will Freddy succeed in achieving his goal?
